Prof. Uebing trained at Heinrich-Heine University Medical School, Düsseldorf and went on to complete his specialist training in general pediatrics, pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease at the University Children’s Hospital in Kiel and the Royal-Brompton-Hospital in London. He let the cardiac catheterisation programme of the Royal Brompton Adult Congenital Heart Disease Unit from 2010 to 2017 and from there was appointed Director of Paediatric Cardiology at the University Hospital Münster, Germany. Prof. Uebing’s research interests includes the use of noninvasive and invasive modalities to assess ventricular function. He has worked extensively on right ventricular function using the pressure of volume conductance system. His research interests include prognostication for patients with congenital heart disease, interventional catheterisation and pregnancy with congenital heart disease. Prof. Uebing has published extensively in the field of congenital heart disease. He is an elective member of the scientific board of the German society of pediatric cardiology.
