The EuroGUCH annual meeting will be held in Münster, Germany

Friday 20th – Saturday 21st April 2018

Due to lack of interest, shuttle buses will not be provided from and to the airport. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.


The registration desk will be located on the ground floor of The Schloß, as soon as you enter the building, and will be open at the following times:

Thursday 19th April Opens 17:00 Closes 19:30
Friday 20th April Opens 07:30 Closes 18:15
Saturday 21st April Opens 08:00 Closes 14:15

On arrival, please make your way to the registration desk to register and collect your conference pack.

Outstanding Fees

A cloakroom is located on the lower ground floor of The Schloß. Please be aware, the cloakroom will be unmanned and CFS Events will not accept responsibility for any items that are stored.

Spring Fun Fair

Please note that the Frühjahrssen, Spring Fun Fair is taking place from 14th – 22nd April on the Schlossplatz. Further information about the fair can be found here: . The fair is located directly in front of the University Building.


The University provides free access to a guest WiFi network for all attendees. The data is limited to 500 MB/day and device, and the network is called GUESTONCAMPUS. No password is required, however you will need to accept terms & conditions. This network is not encrypted.

In addition, there is the option to connect through EDUROAM if you are an academic anywhere internationally and have a EDUROAM access set up.

Professional Accreditation

The event EuroGUCH 2018 & The 11th Advanced Symposium on Adult Congenital Heart Disease is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) for 12 CME credit hours. (Day #1: 6 CME credits – Day #2: 6 CME credits).

Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that have actually been spent in the educational activity. A sign in sheet will be provided each day at registration. EBAC works according to the quality standards of the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), which is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialist (UEMS).

Certificates will be distributed via email following the event.

Poster Abstracts

Poster abstracts will be displayed in the foyer of The Schloß for the duration of the meeting.

Day 1 – Friday 20th April

The meeting will commence at 08:30 and end at 18:15.

Registration is from 07:30 in The Schloß and refreshments will be served during this time. A full programme can be found at

The Lectures will take place in the Aula Lecture Theatre which is located at the Schloß, University of Münster.

The Schloß is a 3 minute walk from the Schloßgarten Café where refreshments and lunch will be served. If you require any mobility assistance please do let me know. Please find attached a walking map.

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will be held in the Historical City Hall of Münster and will commence at 19:00 with pre-dinner drinks and an optional tour of the Historic Hall within the City Hall, followed by dinner at 20:00. This will be the central opportunity for networking during the conference.

The Historic City Hall is located a 5 minute walk from The H4 Hotel and a 15 minute walk from The Schloß, University of Münster. Please find a walking map attached.

You will find your conference dinner ticket in your conference badge holder, which you will receive at registration.

Dress code: Smart/Cocktail (not black tie).

If you have any dietary requirements that you have not yet made me aware of, please do so at your earliest convenience.

Day 2 – Saturday 21st April

The meeting will commence at 08:30 and end at 17:00. Refreshments will be served within the exhibition area situated in the Schloßgarten Café Münster function room from 08:00.

The Lectures will take place in the Aula Lecture Theatre which is located at the Schloß, University of Münster.

If you are checking out of your hotel on Saturday 21st April, please leave your suitcase at the hotel with the concierge. CFS Events cannot be held responsible for any items that are brought to the meeting.
